Yes. A 5 credit course is the equivalent of a one-semester (half-year) course. Our courses are offered in two parts; part 1 covers the Fall semester, and part 2 covers the Spring Semester. Taking both parts would earn ten credits, the equivalent of a two-semester (full-year) course.

Important: Many states use the Carnegie Unit system and recognize a one-semester course as half a credit, e.g., 0.5; two semesters would equal one Carnegie credit. Therefore one of our courses is equivalent to half a Carnegie credit; your school will transfer the course using their credit system.
