Silicon Valley High School uses Parchment, a trusted and widely accepted platform, to process and deliver official transcripts. This service ensures secure and timely delivery of your academic records.
- Electronic Copy: delivery time is approximately 24-72 hours, and the cost is $7.50
- Hard Copy: If you require a hard copy mailed by USPS, the price is $10.25, and the delivery time is approximately 5-10 days. Most schools and universities accept electronic delivery of transcripts from Parchment. Check with the institution if they really require a hard copy, as it is slower and more expensive.
We do not recommend sending an electronic transcript to yourself. Most schools and educational institutions will accept an electronic version directly sent to them by Parchment, but will not accept it if you forward it to them. If you order a hard copy by USPS for hand delivery, on receipt, do not open the transcript; it must be delivered sealed to be considered an official transcript.

Delivery Status of Transcript Ordered: Log in to your Parchment user account and click on Orders. Review these two links for written instructions or video instructions.
Here are the definitions of the different status types:
Pending: the order has been received by SVHS, but has not been processed yet. Please allow at least 2 school days before contacting SVHS regarding your Parchment order.
On Hold: The order is on hold due to account discrepancies related to name or date of birth.
Error: There is an error with the order that needs to be addressed by you.
Canceled: the order has been canceled by SVHS. The most likely reason will be that a duplicate request was received. You will have a credit on your Parchment account.
Available: The transcript has been processed by SVHS and has been sent to the recipient.
Complete: The transcript has been processed by SVHS and has been viewed by the recipient, but may not have been downloaded yet.
Delivered: The transcript has been printed or downloaded by the recipient.
